Juniors win again

Maree/Oranmore FC mens A side made it three wins from three with an excellent 3-1 defeat of Salthill Devon in Oranmore on Saturday last. Emlyn Longs charges will be delighted with the excellent start. Scorers last Saturday were Dara Murphy,Steven Matthews and Reg Ahiable. The lads will face Galway Bohemians B in the FAI Junior Cup on september 17th. Numbers at training have been impressive for both the Premier and Reserve Squads.

U17/U18 Youth

The u17/u18 youths Premier side will be disappointed going down 2-1 to Mervue in a game spoiled by very strong cross winds in their opening League outing of the season on Sunday with the goal courtesy of Princewell Diala. The u17/u18 Youths Division 1 side mainly made up of u17 players had a preseason challenge against Craughwell Utd and came away with a 2-0 win with strikes from Ben Wright and Dean Mooney. Others to impress were the central defenders of Cian Flanagan and Oliver Mc Camley with Kevin Horgan doing well in midfield with stand in keeper Jack Grealish performing heroics in goal.

U13 Premier

The u13 Premier side opened their League campaign with an impressive 6-3 victory at home to Salthill Devon midweek with Ben Costelloe netting 5 and Seamie Fallon getting the other.

U12 Division 1

Our u12 division 1 side under the direction of Dave Raftery and Ger Cleary had a fine 5-3 win against a brave Kinvara Utd side with a brace from Jack Leahy and goals from Jack Raftery, Sean Stapleton and Charlie Healy. All seven club u12 sides have games this Saturday and we wish our youngest competitive players the very best.
