We are delighted to announce that our application under the 2018 Sports Capital Program had been successful and we have secured funding of €66,342 towards our 4G pitch development project.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the development committee who worked tirelessly on achieving this goal. Securing this funding is a massive step in the right direction but we have still a long way to go to have the total funds required to realise our project. As always we encourage you to sign up to the development draw, this money goes directly to the development fund. We will also be launching a series of fundraisers over the coming months which we hope you will participate in. A huge thanks has to be given to Hildegarde Naughton who has been on board with this project with us from the beginning, as well as Liam Carroll our local government representative who has put his support behind us. Congratulations also to our friends in Oranmore Maree GAA club who also secured funding for the Renville project. Finally we would like to thank everyone who is involved in the club on the ground, from coaches to parents and most especially the children and young adults that play for our club and make our community so proud, we are doing this for them and the generations who will follow.
