FAI Soccer Camp

The FAI Soccer camp hosted by Maree/Oranmore FC commenced on Monday August 7th and will run to next Friday on the New Maree Pitches.A record 142 children are taking part,special credit to Mike Quirke and David Watterson for their preparations from our club side and to our club volunteer coaches, assisted by FAI staff notably the likeable John Morris Burke and his team.We wish all kids participating an enjoyable week.

U14 Girls Cup Run

Well done to our club player Steven Healy who recently had u14 Irish Trials in the AUL in Dublin,Steven has progressed very well and we would like to thank his parents Tom and Michelle and our club volunteers for their hard work.

Members Draw

Our August members Draw for a new 4G Pitch for our community takes place this Saturday August 12th at 9.45pm in the Maree Community Centre.We would urge you if not done yet to consider entering our cash draws monthly for less than a fiver weekly on www.mareeoranmorefc.ie

Juniors Pre-Season

Our Junior premier league side commenced their pre season friendly programme this week in Ballinalsoe Town losing out 2-1 to the reigning Connacht Cup holders. A win over Dunmore Town and a draw against Corrib Rangers completed this past weeks activities. A good few new faces, including three of last seasons under 18 squad, featured together with last seasons promoted team. This week will see the clubs first team line out against Merlin Woods and away to Clare League champions Shannon Town.
