Our local community based soccer club Maree/Oranmore fc would like to wish all our club families and all in our twin communities the very best for 2018.

This Saturday Jan 6th sees the return to training of our younger academy boys and girls(u6 to u10) at the normal times in Oranmore.The next round of our St Columbas Credit Union Invitational Tournament will take place on Sunday Jan 21st for boys sides at u7 and u8 and girls sides at u8 and u10 levels.Any tournament enquiries to mofcinvit@gmail.com

This weekend sees all of our clubs seven u12 sides in competitive action with the U12a side playing in the Connacht Cup away to Craughwell Utd while the u12c side are away to Colga fc in the same competition.The remaining five u12 sides are involved in League action in their respective divisions.

The u14 boys will be hoping their recent good run maintains itself when they host Mervue in the u14 Connacht cup while the u14 div 2 side are in league action against Kinvara Utd.

The adult A side play away on Sunday morning against Merlin Woods fc/Medtronic on Sunday morning in the Michael Byrne Cup while both of our youths sides are in League action against Colga fc and Loughrea Rams fc respectively.
The December Members Draw took place on December 23rd in The Porterhouse Oranmore.The winner was Rita Healy Mc Loughlin ,in second place was Pat Donohue while Eamonn Caulfield took the third prize.The members draw is used to help the process of building a new state of the art new 4g pitch for our community.For less than a fiver weekly with generous cash prizes monthly.Club families to join up can contact David on 087 6744158.
