U10 Success in Preseason Tournament

Coaching News
Maree/Oranmore fc have announced their coaching personnel for our competitive boys and mens sides for the new forthcoming season 2018/2019. Don O Riordan will look after our mens Premier side replacing the equally excellent Emlyn Long who brought this squad to the top flight. O Riordan has a wealth of experience as a former professional player and has managed Galway Utd Seniors and Sligo Rovers as well as serious coaching stints in China and South Africa. Their opening game this weekend is at home to Mervue and is down for this Sunday 26th at 2pm in Maree. The OCDA pitches are presently undergoing a maintenance programme and will be ready the following weekend.
Mike Quirke, our club director of coaching will once more head up our strong band of volunteer coaches.
Registration Deadline!
Remember your child needs to be registered before they can play or train, matches will be starting very soon and unregistered players cannot take part. Please do not leave it until the last minute as this causes the Club logistical problems. Download the Clubify app and click on MyClub to view registration packages. Girls Training
Our girls sides will be back training shortly and this year will field sides from u6 to u18. The club will announce a new female girls director of coaching this week kindly sponsored by a prominent and well regarded local Oranmore business.
Other News
Well done to Galway Minor Hurlers especially team captain Sean Neary and Eoghan Geraghty on their Superb All Ireland victory on Sunday last, both Calasanctius College Oranmore pupils, they have also graced the soccer fields with our Club.
