Local community soccer club Maree/Oranmore fc kindly sponsored by the Galway Clinic are now entering the home phase of a fruitful and exciting season.
League Decider
Heartbreak last Thursday night for our u17/u18 Premier boys side who were pipped for the Premier League title in Fahys Field, the penultimate League game finished scoreless against Mervue in a game Maree/Oranmore should have won in front of a big crowd. The Maree/Oranmore lads played excellent football especially in the second half with Alan Greene and Danny Travis coming very close in an exciting competitive game. Not to be outdone the Maree/Oranmore fc lads play in the Cup Final this Wednesday v Mervue in Eamonn Deacy Park ko 7pm. Support would be appreciated.
Girls Cup Final
Our u16 girls have reached the championship cup final and they play next Sunday May 26th also in Eamonn Deacy Park ko 6pm against city club Knocknacarra fc.
