This week sees Maree/Oranmore fc host their annual FAI Summer soccer camp in Maree with 150 participants enjoying great football in mixed weather conditions.Great credit to club director of coaching Mike Quirke for all his coordination and club volunteers such as Fergus Kelliher,Tom Reddington,Frank Mannion,Hubert Brennan,Kieran O Connell,Siobhan Carroll,Tony Jordan,Martin Horgan,Mark Herrick and others who worked alongside our younger coaches Alex Fearon,Cian Flanagan,Shane Cox,Kevin Horgan,Max Hawksley,Cian Flanagan,Ciaran Burke,Ryan Mill,Cian Fallon,Tara Brogan,Mikayla Mc Grath and Aisling Quinn.There was also six FAI coaches involved headed up by the likeable FaI Development Officer John Morris Burke.The camp finishes on Friday August 9th.
Preseason Training for our adult and u20/u21 sides is underway and going very well.This coming week a young Maree/Oranmore fc side will play in the St Bernards Tournament commencing Tuesday night while another side will play West Utd on Thursday evening.The club will field Premier,Div 3,u20/u21 and possibly a Reserve League side.Enquiries re adult soccer to Dom on 0872481235 or Martin on 087 9806489.


Registration for all all age groups from u6 to adult for the new season 2019/2020 is now open.Simply download the Clubzap App and save it to your phone also for all communications and club news.
There will be a boys coaches meeting(u11 to u18 boys) next Monday August 12th at 8.30pm in The Maree Community Centre.Please note our younger Academy players(u6 to u10 boys and girls) resume training on Saturday Sept 14th.There will be a meeting of all our girls coaches Monday Aug 19th.All players need to register or no training/game.
Maree/Oranmore fc in supporting our local community are delighted to support our local families and Cadans Little Battle is a cause close to our heart.Thanks to all who donated to funds raised during the recent game between Maree/Oranmore fc coaches  and Friends of Oranmore fc and our end of year social a few months ago.Club Treasurer Niall Mc Bride this week presented a cheque to Cadans Little Battle from all in the club.
