Local community based club Maree/Oranmore fc are busily preparing for a new exciting season 2019/2020 with preseason training and preparations afoot.This Sunday ko 11am in Fahys Field the adult Premier side under Don O Riordan take on Mervue in a tough opener.This season we will field three adult sides,an u20/u21 side,a Division 3 side and a Premier side.The Premier side play their second game on August 28th at home to St Bernards ko 6.30pm.The Division 3 side made up of experienced players and younger players start their campaign with a home tie against Corrib Rangers ko 6.30pm.We wish Hugh O Neill and his charges the very best. The u20/u21 side will be boosted by the addition of the excellent Ger Curran to the management set up.Among the clubs joining in this League include Tuam Celtic,Galway Hibernians,Mervue,Colga fc,Athenry fc,Corrib Rangers,Colemanstown Utd and Maree/Oranmore fc.Players are asked to register by downloading the Clubzap App.Only registered players can play in the local competitive Leagues and Cups.
The competive boys sides(u12 to u18) are going through preseason Training at present and the Girls Leagues this year will be at u12,u13,u15,u17 and u19 age groups.
The u6 to u10 boys and girls Academy will recommence for the new season on September 14th when the younger kids are well settled back to school.Please note that competitive Leagues for our boys and girls sides resume on weekend of August 31st/September 1st.Remember you cannot play with our club unless registered,download clubzap to register and for all club news/notifications and updates.Our club facebook also provides up to date club information.
