With the easing of restrictions our club sides(U18 and down) will start returning to training in pods of 15 next week from April 26th. Our Younger Academy sides(Boys and Girls U6 to U10) will return on Saturday May 1st.
C19 protocols on respiratory etiquette, advance health screening questionnaire and attendance tracking for contact tracing will resume as per prior to latest lockdown. Watch out for communications from your group's coordinator/coaches via ClubZap.
Maree/Oranmore fc intend to host both FAI and Club organised camps this summer. However we will be guided by public health guidance and will only take registrations for summer camps when the picture is clearer as player welfare and safety is our primary concern.
Well done to Donal Higgins of Ballinacourty, Maree who scored for UCD in the Airtricity League against Cabinteely in Belfield last Friday night.Donal who played all his schoolboy football with Maree/Oranmore is a former underage Irish International and is presently studying physiotherapy in UCD.
Last Friday afternoon Maree/Oranmore fc were delighted to host a visit from Tom Trill(Chair),Geraldine Treacy(Secretary) and Terry Lee(Fixtures Secretary ) of the Galway Football Association.Our club has now become the largest club in the largest club in the local Galway and District League and it was a great honour to show our new facility for the youth of Maree and Oranmore to our invited special guests.
